THE SABRE TOOTH TIGER: WILD NEW WORLD Producer Miles Barton.
The camel kill was one of the most difficult scenes I have ever animated.   The camel, of course, is real and was evidently native of North America at that time.   I started this sequence by building a CGI camel neck and tracking it to the live action backplate and conforming it in 3space.   This made it easier for me to organise where the positioning and weight of the tiger should go, as he pushes the camel over.
